Zane Truscott | Director

It's a great thrill to be on this inspiring journey that is impacting so many lives in such a positive way.

My role at Fortune Events is to monitor and enhance the key aspects that drive our business. I'm probably best known for taking to the stage to introduce our keynote speakers and MC our programs, but my biggest contribution really takes place 'behind the scenes'. 

I spend my time developing and improving our communications, marketing and promotional material and working with our speakers on developing program formats to maximise value and outcomes for our event guests. 

When it's time for R&R, I can be found hanging out at home or the beach with Inga and our 3 daughters (Arki 11, Milla 9 and Georgie 6).  For a personal escape, I enjoy a game of golf, tennis, music, boating and keeping fit.

 Inga Truscott | Business Relationship Manager

For me, Fortune Events is more than a business - it's a passion. I say that because we've created a unique platform that not only embraces individuals, but families as well.  We believe if you have children, it's so important that they are a part of your 'personal development' journey - Zane and I have discovered the importance and benefits of that with our own children.

Because I believe so passionately in what we have to offer, my role comes easily - and that's to build the business relationships that are crucial for 'casting the net' so that we're able to share our message with the widest possible audience.

For me, I know that it's about 'touching people'.  The more people we touch, the more people that get to benefit from the life-changing wisdom that our events and programs have to offer.  I love the process of meeting new guests and seeing the impact of what we do.

In my 'down-time' I love swimming, running with my iPod and chilling out at home with our three beautiful girls, my animals and family and friends.  I love my mac, I'll read just about anything, sleep just about anywhere and cook with just about anything! I love nothing more than a good belly laugh and I'm moved by positive change in the world.  I hope to meet you one day soon during our travels :)

Kylie Freeman | Membership Services Team Member 

Kylie role involves taking charge of all of the major guest communication functions in the lead up to our events as well as online updates and membership support services. Kyie has a wonderful attitude, an infectious laugh and all the experience to make our journey smooth sailing.

All the administration 'stuff' seems to just fall into place once it lands on Kylies desk and clients are always delighted to have been looked after by Kylie... To quote Kylie herself  "Nothing is a problem". 

Weekends are spent in sleep workshops with 1 year old Milla and chasing husband Greg around with a to do list... No, seriously, we don't actually know what Kylie does on the weekend but we suspect it has something to do with smelling flowers and taking happy potion!

Lisa Thompson | Event Manager 

Our newest Team Member, Lisa comes to us with outrageous enthusiasm, loads of experience and presentation to make Posh Spice cringe. 

Venue Co-Ordination, Logistics and Pre-Event preparation are all part of Lisa's everyday tasks and Marketing, Web Updates and E-Campaigns are also her domain.. (no pun intended!).

Lisa's commitment to ensuring all our guests have an amazing experience means she actually has no life outside Fortune Events which actually suits me fine, because it also means I might actually GET A LIFE ! Perfect, right!

Rick Calder | MultiMedia & Design Team Member

I'm the guy that gets the fun jobs - recording, producing, editing all of the AV footage that is captured at our big events.  I also take care of the editing of the Foundation Member teleconference calls each month so that specific topics are accessible to all member's - wow, what awesome information!

From time to time, I also work with Zane developing new CD and DVD products using the content from our incredible live events.  This involves a detailed process of editing, design and photography to deliver a vaulable product for clients and guests.

When I get time away from it all, I love to read, travel and enjoy a weekly game of soccer with my mates!
